1930s house extension in west bridgford

Before house extension

Before house extension

We transformed the rear of this 1930s semi in West Bridgford by adding 3.5 meter extension to the rear. This involved taking down the old coal shed, and basic laundry lean too, creating foundations, then building up.

We used a small utility digger to excavate the foundations.
Once foundations had been set, we fixed the courses and started building up. Not trusting the British weather, we used a temporary shelter that was removed only once the new extension was watertight.
